Part of the AI/ML Learning Series: Boot Camps, Showcases & Hackathons (Fall 2025–Fall 2026).

My Motivation

Computer Science isn’t mandatory in most middle and high schools, so many students miss early exposure to essential skills. There’s also a shortage of CS educators at those levels.

As a high-school student passionate about CS and AI/ML, I’ve run boot camps that give students hands-on experience and confidence. Partnering with King Library at SJSU and SJPL lets us offer accessible, inclusive learning aligned with the library’s mission of free and equal access, lifelong learning, and community empowerment.

Why Me

  • Published multiple AI/ML papers in IEEE international conferences.
  • Ran an undergraduate boot camp that led to an IEEE conference paper.
  • Founder/President of Data Science Club; Co-President of Competitive Science Club.
  • 200+ hours of teaching via Schoolhouse; taught Python & math since middle school.
  • Track record of making advanced topics accessible and inspiring.

This initiative also aligns with SJPL King Library’s mission to foster lifelong learning and equitable access, while engaging the community through a high-impact, inclusive program.
